I don't think escape is a problem at all .. wasting your elite for a speed boost? A total waste. (They already have LR so it's not like the %block is terribly great).
If anything in imbalanced on the R/D bar .. its rending touch. 8 sec recharge is too good. And I'm not crazy about making the condition 'must lose and enchant' because that just encourages other imba builds that exploit enchant-ending (ala the old grenth's aura). Just make Rending touch 15sec recharge and you are good.

The entire game is overdue for a good nerf overhaul, not just HA...
But yes HA is one of the areas that could use a good teargas grenade in the room to clear out the crap thats in it and start over.

agreed, its not so much that the meta is terrible, its that its horribly stale,
you can look at the party menu for just about any team and just by seeing their prof/secondary know whats on their bar, with the exception of the 1-2skills that rotate in each build i.e. orison and patient spirit for heal monks, or natural stride and trappers speed for trappers. with the exception of a small number of monks who tend to never run full meta, i cant remember the last time i saw a #7 monk that wasn't running this skillbar: rc, rof, soa, spirit bond, guardian, holy veil, aura stability and channelling. im not saying its bad, its just too predictiable and boring
props to the mod who cleaned this thread up, but could you pull the stuff by Alazare out, it contributes nothing, other than allowing him to pretend he has an e-peen, ty

I haven't seen such a horrible list of changes ever. It will do well to change the meta up, but most of your changes are just silly and over zealous in nature. I will address some of the more ludicrous things you said even though some one has already done this and you have already made yourself look like a fool.

Ironically Expertise is probably the most unbalanced thing on the R/D bar. The main reason Escape gets picked out is because it would severely hurt the build's viability and wouldn't hurt anything else that anybody actually cares about.

Expertise is imbalanced, and is the cause of R/Ds, R/Ws, R/As, R/Ns, etc. However, Izzy is not going to change Expertise, despite that it would undoubtably help the game. Escape is the next best thing because it at least means that you can pressure the opposing team's frontline without a rigor or stance removal.

Expertise only effects attacks, Rituals, touch skills, and Rangers skills not other professions spells eg. the Dervish enchants, Monk heals etc. Yes it would be nice if it were restricted to Ranger skills but they would have done that years ago if they wanted to.
As for ectos, I reckon it would be neat if there was a 1% chance that the Ghostly would drop an ecto when it dies on the HA Underworld map
